衣索比亞近日發生一起嚴重車禍，一輛載滿乘客的卡車墜入河中，罹難人數71人，這些乘客才剛參加完婚禮，卻在回家路上遭遇死劫，令人痛心。

根據《Al Jazeera》報導，衣索比亞錫達馬州（Sidama state）於當地時間29日17時30分左右，有一輛卡車滿載剛參加完婚禮的乘客，路上疑似因轉彎不慎，錯過橋梁入口墜入河中，一共造成71人死亡，5人重傷。

事故現場照片顯示，卡車沉入河中，當地居民們圍聚試圖打撈車輛，地面上則擺放著許多罹難者遺體，並用藍色防水布覆蓋，甚至有不少乘客未能及時逃生，被湍急的河水沖走，場面令人心碎。
對此，錫達馬州政府發言人西米翁（Wosenyeleh Simion）指出，警方研判卡車超載是事故的主要原因，正在釐清詳細事發原因。
