美國第二大港爆意外！67個貨櫃落海 碼頭作業急喊停

美國「第二繁忙港口」長堤港9日有一艘貨船發生貨櫃翻覆意外，導致碼頭作業緊急喊停。

根據《New York Post》報導，美國加州長堤港（Port of Long Beach）於當地時間9日上午9時左右，一艘名叫「密西西比號 Mississippi」的貨船在靠泊期間發生貨櫃翻覆意外，約有67個貨櫃落入水中。

事故發生後當局立刻展開行動，為保護貨櫃事發碼頭已暫時停止裝卸等相關作業，所幸未有人員傷亡，事故原因仍有待調查。

A Unified Command has been established for the incident in the Port of Long Beach.

The USCG, Long Beach Fire, Port of Long Beach, are working on the response, and Air Station Ventura will be conducting another flyover.

據了解，密西西比號懸掛葡萄牙國旗，於8月26日從中國深圳鹽田港出發，在事故發生前約24小時內抵達長堤港。

而出事的長堤港為美國第二繁忙的貨櫃港，僅次於鄰近的洛杉磯港（Port of Los Angeles），兩個港口共稱聖佩德羅灣港區（San Pedro Bay Complex），是美洲最繁忙、世界上第五大繁忙的港口。
