根據《Variety》報導，曾在洛杉磯極具影響力的電台「KROQ」工作34年的傑德，前陣子剛診斷出肺癌不久，便不幸於當地時間14日凌晨逝世，享壽69歲，個人官方IG也發文證實。
據了解，傑德本名為埃德溫‧古爾德三世（Edwin Jed Fish Gould III），曾在洛杉磯極具影響力的電台「KROQ」擔任主持人，以「Jed the Fish」一名廣為人知，一生致力於許多藝文創作，粉絲不少。
對於傑德的離去，他的好友、現任KROQ主持人Megan Holiday悼念道「他是我見過的最善良、最有趣、最獨特的人，總是鼓舞著身邊的人，我非常愛他，也很感激過去有他的陪伴」。
