美國前日發生一起人神共憤的隨機攻擊事件，一名7歲女童在公園遊玩時，遭一名陌生老翁持刀攻擊，頸部遭割傷。

根據《New York Post》報導，美國底特律（Detroit）一名7歲女童馬什拉什（Saida Mashrash）於當地時間8日下午3時45分，到離家不遠的萊恩公園（Ryan Park）遊玩，玩到一半時一名73歲老翁蘭斯基（Gary Lansky）突然上前，女童原本還有禮貌地向老翁打招呼，沒想到下一秒卻遭攻擊，老翁舉刀架在女童脖子上。

過程中，女童在的脖子被割傷流血，因疼痛出於本能地用力踢了老翁一腳成功掙脫，並跑到熟識鄰居莫克比爾（Donna Mockbil）家中求救；莫克比爾回憶，當時她立刻替女童止血，而她的兒子則追趕逃跑的嫌犯，警方隨後趕到現場，成功逮捕老翁。

在鄰居緊急處理傷勢後，女童被送醫治療，所幸無生命危險，傷口縫了約20針，現已出院返家休養，母親事後表示「她非常幸運，傷口真的很深」；目前，攻擊女童的老翁被警方以意圖謀殺、惡意傷害等罪名起訴，行凶動機仍在調查中。
