搜救人員vs.受困女童：「妳知道怎麼玩遊戲嗎？（不知道），哦這樣子哦，嗨阿郎阿郎怎麼不說話，他比妳還安靜，（請帶我離開這裡），帶妳帶開？（讓我離開這裡，之後我願意幫你做任何事，我可以當你的傭人），不不要這麼說。」
五歲敘利亞小女童吉娜和他11個月大弟弟阿郎，地震發生第三天被搜救人員發現時，受困在一面牆壁底下，姐弟倆在重壓的痛苦下，強忍著淚水，小小年紀受到如此的折磨，讓人看了相當心疼。

搜救人員在協助她們脫困前不斷和她們聊天，轉移注意力減少痛苦，所幸沒多久就將他們救出送醫，姐姐手腳受傷，目前狀況穩定。

事實上敘利亞地區災區目前處於內戰狀態，災民獲得的援助物資相當有限，加上氣溫只有零度左右，許多民眾穿著單薄衣物，在戶外燒柴取暖，處境相當艱難。
