英格蘭東南部路峨斯鎮（Lewes）附近今天發生通勤列車出軌事故，急救單位表示有11人受傷，其中兩人「重傷」。事故原因目前尚不明朗。
法新社報導，東南海岸救護車局（South East Coast Ambulance Service）在聲明中表示：「目前我們可以證實有兩名傷者傷勢嚴重，另外9人傷勢較輕。」

救護車局並指出，出軌列車上載有約150名乘客，從倫敦維多利亞車站（London Victoria station）出發，於下午4時（格林威治標準時間15時）前不久出軌。
英國媒體稍早引述政府消息人士的說法報導，據信「無人重傷或死亡」。
英國交通警察局（British Transport Police）成員德拉蒙－史密斯（Ian Drummond-Smith）表示，列車上乘客全數「安全撤離」。
來自東薩塞克斯郡（East Sussex）事故現場的畫面顯示，至少3節車廂翻覆，現場有救護人員。
發生事故的是南部鐵路公司（Southern Rail）旗下列車，該公司負責倫敦南部地區與首都之間的鐵路連結。
