強烈狂風迎面吹襲，飯店屋頂大片掀起，大量碎片被吹上空中、四處飄散。美國佛州遭颶風侵襲，彭薩科拉一間飯店屋頂嚴重受損。
颶風伊薩亞斯週五深夜登陸，時速約177公里的強風吹倒大樹，也扯斷電線，多處社區遭到嚴重破壞。
佛州居民強生表示，原本是自家車道的地方，如今被倒下的樹木占據，約30英尺、相當於9公尺高的白橡樹，如今全都倒了。
這場風災造成佛州與阿拉巴馬州共4人死亡。不少地區出現路樹倒塌，壓毀汽車或房屋等災情。
颶風登陸後，風勢雖逐漸減弱，目前仍有將近70萬戶停電。氣象單位警告，佛州部分地區周末恐持續降雨；隨著風暴往內陸移動，喬治亞州及南、北卡羅來納州部分地區也須防範突發洪水。
Powerful winds ripped roofing off a hotel in Pensacola, Florida, Friday as Hurricane Isaias slammed into the Gulf Coast as a Category 2 storm. The hurricane made landfall near Destin with sustained winds of 105 mph, bringing heavy rain, widespread flooding and dangerous storm surges to parts of Florida and Alabama. Downed trees, power lines and debris littered roads, prompting some communities to temporarily suspend emergency response operations as conditions worsened. This morning, the storm weakened into a post-tropical cyclone.
