「洛杉磯時報」（Los Angeles Times）報導，加州執法機構人士表示，蒙特瑞公園市（Monterey Park）昨晚發生槍擊事件，造成數人傷亡，警方正在處理。
報導說，這起槍擊事件發生在晚間10時（台灣時間22日下午2時）過後，地點在蒙特瑞公園市華人農曆新年慶祝活動區域附近。據了解，至少16人中槍被緊急送往醫院。
